Whitetail Deer Hunting
Deer season is one of our favorite times of year at Tatanka. Oklahoma’s 2026 archery deer season officially opened October 1, with muzzleloader and rifle seasons following later this fall.
Tatanka Ranch offers guided whitetail deer hunting across our private Oklahoma property, with 12 bow stands and five rifle stands positioned throughout prime deer territory.
We pride ourselves on providing an authentic, non-high-fence hunting experience and carefully manage the property year-round with a focus on harvesting mature trophy whitetails.
Our deer hunting packages are designed to make the entire trip easy. Depending on your package, your stay can include private lodging, meals and snacks, transportation to and from your stand or blind, a one-on-one guided hunt, private ranch access, field dressing, transportation to a taxidermist, and time to enjoy the Ranch when you aren’t hunting.

Waterfowl Hunting with Blind Dog Outfitters
Tatanka Ranch has also partnered with Blind Dog Outfitters to offer a full-service Oklahoma waterfowl hunting experience.
Blind Dog Outfitters hunts a variety of carefully scouted habitats, including agricultural fields, flooded crops, ponds, and other prime waterfowl areas. Experienced guides handle the details in the field, including decoy spreads, blinds, calling, scouting, and bird retrieval.
And the experience doesn’t end when the morning hunt does. Hunters return to private cabin accommodations, home-cooked meals, and time to relax before dinner.
