It’s November. Which basically means its December. Which means…holiday party planning is in full swing! Are you prepared to host your next holiday event? If you’re not hosting, are you prepared to attend your holiday parties coming up? If not? Don’t worry, Tatanka has got you covered.
If your company holiday party is at Tatanka or maybe you have a winter wedding this year at the Ranch. This blog is for you! We’ve created a list with helpful tips and tricks to make sure your event goes off without a hitch!
First things first, let’s talk guest count. Planning on hosting your holiday party with multiple office locations throughout Oklahoma? Tatanka is located in Stroud which halfway between OKC and Tulsa off the turnpike. Travel time is under an hour coming from either direction. Perfectly located for guests wanting to head back to their own cozy beds after the event. The Event Center seats up to 200 guests for a seated dinner. If you’re team is a little smaller, ask about renting out our Lodge for groups of 30 people or less. It’s rustic, cozy, and add on the indoor fireplace for added ambiance.
Please note, Google Maps is sometimes not our friend. They want to give you the fastest route, which doesn’t always mean it’s the best route. To avoid dirt roads when attending an event at Tatanka, please take Exit 166 in Chandler and come down 18. Follow 18 till you see the blue sign that says Tatanka Ranch. I promise you’ll thank us later.
Now, the food! Our catering team at Tatanka is ready to make sure your guests’ bellies are full. If you’re wanting a traditional holiday meal with ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, the whole nine yards, we’ve got you covered. Want something a little less traditional? Fajita bar? BBQ spread? We got that too. Ask about our passed apps to add on as well!
Next thing, the drinks! Have a creative cocktail in mind? Thinking something festive? Send us your ideas and we can make them. Not sure where to start? Let us come up with a cocktail menu specific for your company party or wedding event to serve!
Finally, where the heck are your guests going to stay after your event? At Tatanka of course! Our 20 cabins and guest house can accommodate up to 80 people if all bed sizes are utilized, or 22 people individually for corporate events if a single space is needed.
